ESTER PEONY wins SELECTIA NATIONALA 2019!

After a long evening full of surprises, maybe the biggest of them all came from the voting, which led to ESTER PEONY winning the whole thing. TVR outdone itself this year and made a huge huge deal out of this show, and bringing two past winners of the Eurovision on the same stage in the same night, it IS something. Good job TVR!

About Ester:

Ester Peony ( Ester Alexandra Cretu), is a romanian singer and composer. Her passion for music appeared since her early years, while she lived with her parents in Montreal, Canada. In 2014, Ester recored a few covers and promoted them on the internet, and this represented the launch of her musical career, signing a contract with a record label in Romania. A year later, she debuted on the radios with the song “ Sub aripa ta” – feat Vescan, which was a hit. Then she starts a national tour with Puya, Vescan, Doddy and Anastasia. In 2008 she launches the first EP, “ Dig it”, in which she is one of the main composers. Along Alexandru Serbu and Ioana Victoria Badea, she writes “On a Sunday” and she enterd the Eurovision competition. Ester now works at her first album, which will be out in 2019.
