The time has come, after 5 semifinal shows , to crown the winner for Romania. THE HUMANS won Selectia nationala 2018, in a Grand Final that took place at Sala Polivalenta in Bucharest. TVR managed to organize an amazing show, and I can tell you, that in the audience, we felt like it was the real Eurovision. Congratz TVR for that!. Congratulations THE HUMANS for winning Selectia Nationala 2018. Thier song "Goodbye" had the many votes ans so they will represent Romania in Lisbon in the 2nd semifinal on the 10th of May.  With a pop-rcok song they manages to surpass all the other contestants and win the whole thing. The 4th semifinal from Selectia Nationala 2018 took place last night in the spectacular Salina Turda, a very old salt mine dating back from around 1200 BC.  TVR managed to secure this location for the 4th semifinal, and what a great idea it was. Rafael & Friends were the surprise of the Semifinal 2 from " Seletia Nationala 2018 " in Timisoara. Even there were other artists credited as sure qualifiers, Rafael & Friends managed to impress the judges and win a spot in the final. With a rock ballad and a strong message, they impressed not only the judges, but all of us, bringing on stage a group of talented artists who harmonised perfectly. Jukebox feat Bella Santiago, RAFAEL & Friends şi MIHAI won the seccond semifinal in Romania. The biggest surprise came from Rafel & Friends who surpassed  one of the hot favourites to qualify, Serena. Last night took place the first Semifinal in the romanian selection.  The show opened with Luminita Anghel singing the Moldavian entry from 2009 "Hora din Moldova", because, of course, Focsani is in the historical province of Moldova :D in case you were wondering, and Romnaia never had a song about Moldova :P Luminita was, as always, a big PRO.
