Ilinca and Alex meet and greet at the Airport

Yesterday at 14:30 at the International Henry Coanda Airport in Bucharest, TVR held a press confrence and a “meet and greet” session with Ilinca and Alex, right before they embarked for Kyiv. High hopes this year for Romania, since the bookies puts us in the top 10.

Iuliana Marciuc (head of Delegation): ” It was a real joy to see that everybody is “yodel”-ing around Europe, and that the press was very interested and receptive at our team. After the promo tour, the fan’s opinion have changed, and things are starting to look even better for us. On top of this, we are leaving for Kyiv with a high dose of optimism, and the will to help these kids as much as we can, since they are at their first international contest.”

Ilinca Bacila : ” The Eurovision experience is a very beautiful and ecxciting for us, which now is again at a starting point, because now is actualy the zero moment when we leave for Kyiv to represent Romania. I am very confident, and as far as we are concerned so far, we did the best we could to keep the high expectations.”

Alex Florea : ” We are expecting a very busy period, with the first rehearsal on 2nd of May and the seccond rehearsal on 5th of May, hoping to receive the full supoort of the techinal team, in order for everything to come out as we want it”.
